Regular yoga classes has proved to make a difference to chidlren's physical and mental health. Teachers notice improvements in behaviour and concentration and can transfer skills learnt to their daily lessons. My best feeback is straight from the children and here is what some have said;

After graduating from St. Mary's University in Twickenham I found my calling working with children and families in Sure Start Children's Centres. I loved this positive environment and making a real difference to my community. This is where I began to build my career in education.
I worked very closely with the school that the children's centre was attached to. The headteacher knew that I wanted to become a qualified teacher so he gave me as much teaching experiences as possible. I was very grateful to be able to work with children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
I then developed my career as a teaching assistant (working in various settings across primary schools and ASD units) before continuing my own education with Kingston University to become a Qualified Early Years Teacher. Throughout my career I have had an abundance of experience within schools, nurseries and children's centres. Giving me the opportunity to work with children of all backgrounds and abilities and adapting to every childs individual needs.
Now I am lucky enough to be able to combine my two passions; education and yoga. I have been practising yoga for 6 years and within that time I have trained with, and gained great experience from, instructors who have been working with adults and children for over 20 years.
I am delighted to be able to deliver yoga classes to children to help them have the best possible start in their education and give them life-long skills to support their physical and mental health. I also teach a wonderful style of yoga for adults called Free Style Fitness Yoga which is accessable to all abilities. I am so pleased that yoga is becoming more popular and I wish to teach as many people as possbile so that they can gain confidence and mindfulness skills like I have had the prilivage to learn.
